Innovative Pest Management was started in July 1994 by Mr. Carl J. Doucette. After twenty-five years in the industry working for a large pest control company, Mr. Doucette believed that there had to be a better method for pest control then drowning the insect. With this thought in mind he started his own company using the philosophy “Pest Management Through Creative Strategies”.
Carl J. Doucette
Carl J. Doucette’s pest control career started in late 1970's with Western Exterminator Company where he received several promotions that lead him to be the Los Angeles Operations Manager of Western Exterminator.
Throughout Mr. Doucette's career he has participated in most of the major changes and improvements that the industry has gone through. In the 70’s and early 80’s he became a member of the Educational Committee of the Structural Pest Control Board which drafted and successfully ushered into law the current pre-licensing educational requirements and later the mandatory continuing education requirements. Shortly after opening his own business Carl J. Doucette was the successful bidder for the City of Santa Monica’s Integrated Pest Management Contract and through two more competitive bidding’s has maintained the contract for the past 13 years.
Darrell Roach
Co-owner of Innovative Pest Management since 2004. Darrell Roach started his career in pest control in 1977 at Western Exterminator where he received numerous promotions that directed him to a management position. Throughout his career he has served in various leadership positions in the pest control industry including Chairmen of the South Bay District of the Pest Control Operators of California and as Director for the District.
Jennifer Roach
She currently holds the position of office manager at Innovative Pest Management with 32 years of experience in the pest control industry.
